It was interesting to see how Dovi undermined J-Lo in Q1 when A Escargo went to P1 and knocked J-Lo out of Q2.

At least he was almost as quick as the rich kid who doesn't deserve to be in MotoGP.

 

IIRC, the Yamaha was widely acknowledged as one of the best handling bikes so the chassis development was minimal and the focus was just on getting more power. Yamahas rider lineup in 2003 made the bike look worse than it really was with Careless Chucker being their top rider and Barros not really meshing with the bike.
