That's consistent with the total attendance posted by KTM, and a pretty damn good number. Silverstone had less than half that on Sunday.

 

That was the first thing I noticed in the replays…..that suit didn’t do a thing.

Airbag systems are mandatory in GP right? Have been for awhile now.

Crazy to think how much worse that would have been if he touched down on pavement instead of gravel.

 

BTW, I actually liked the chicane. Seeing Quattro use it to pass in the final laps was a nice opportunity

 

It was great for passing. But still destroyed the flow of sector 1

 

Yes, but no one was close to dying in turn 3.

 

There were a couple of instances (moto2, I believe) where a low side going into the first turn of the chicane almost spit the rider/bike right back onto the racing line coming out of the second turn.

 

But with much slower speeds for the approaching riders, who would have also had a view of the crash and be ready to take avoiding action.

 

I did say bring back the 20 foot high wall.
