I believe so. Marquez could have ridden, but he would have had to use the street bike.

If true then that sucks. I can understand that restriction for current/ contracted MotoGP riders. But riders who are independent at the test should still be able to race. They test to get a feel for the bike then race. That makes more sense than going into the race with zero time on the bike IMO.

 

Gotta be wondering now if J.Roberts was right to turn down that Aprilia ride. Probably would have dumped him just as quick for Dovi. Why would anyone want to sign for that team after doing this....4 times now?

 

Facelift had his own issues, and I mean Bradley Smith and Savadori aren't riders that need to be in MotoGP, they are not "Repsol good". So I don't think that it matters much.

 

I think "Repsol Good" needs to be a common phrase here from now on.

Predictions for SDK?
Honestly.. Doubtful he'll crack the top 25-25. But hopeful he will. Too many things going against him. At least Beabier has a race under his belt. I'm hoping he can be in the points.
