Just found out Mort Sahl died last October. His name probably doesn't mean anything to 95% of the members here, but he was a stand up comedian prominent in the 60' and 70's. He would ad-lib his act off the current newspaper. Without being Dungeonesque, his biting wit should be sorely missed these days since he didn't cut anyone slack, an extremely rare quality these days. He had a late night show in the early 70's running on KTLA. He was a car guy, used to bring on interesting rarities and interview their owners.
