A wife cheater and probable revenge porn blackmailer while spouting sky daddy shit and family values is not the best thing to happen to Missouri. Not to mention if he's found guilty, he's done.

I’ll take him over the career politician cocksuckers that make up the rest of our elected officials every day of the week. Regardless of what he’s done in his personal life (although I don’t think he did anything remotely close to what he’s been accused of), the guy is a leader that gets shit done for real Missourians, not just the wealthy, connected, special interests, or leeches.

Remember, these are the same jackasses that filed charges in the Ferguson shooting.

As I have said before, I made a personal mistake before I was Governor. I did not commit a crime.

With today’s disappointing and misguided political decision, my confidence in our prosecutorial system is shaken, but not broken. I know this will be righted soon.

The people of Missouri deserve better than a reckless liberal prosecutor who uses her office to score political points.

I look forward to the legal remedies to reverse this action.

This will not for a moment deter me from doing the important work of the great people of Missouri.

I'm certainly not a but when that's part of what you campaign on that's a red flag, but an even bigger red flag is taking a picture without someones knowledge and tell them if they go public you'll blackmail them with it.

Do you know the story about the picture? She didn’t know he was going to take it beforehand, but she knew as soon as he took it. I’ve read different accounts about what happened afterwards. The account back in January said it was immediately deleted. The account yesterday said something vague about transmitting in a manner that allowed access via a computer (to me that sounds like his phone was synced to iCloud or something and they’re trying to make it sound as bad as possible).

Gov. Greitens will NOT go down for this. He is a threat to the career shitbag politicians in this state, and they know it. I’m so glad that he’s my governor.

Hmmm, some food for thought. So, the woman, while confessing to her then husband of the affair, mentions that the Gov was "blackmailing her" and everyone connected to him is now making plans to hang his ass from the streetlamp pole in front of the Capital? No real evidence shown, at least in the article, but that doesn't matter. It's a story so kill him first, then find out if any of it's true or not? I wonder if the woman was "mentioning" that as an attempt to make her look like she wasn't really wanting to continue the affair? Did she, or her husband, file for divorce after that affair?
Another knee jerk situation developing in our world of shoot first and ask questions later mentality. I'm really tired of this kind of BS.

Man, you'd have to wonder if the guy wasn't a Republican if this thread would even be here.

Yes. Yes it would. And the sides being taken would be the opposite of what they are now.

Heard this on the radio the other day, it said there was a recording of the Gov making threats.

Sort of like campaigning on a "gun control" platform while surrounded by an armed security detail...

Or pointing out how grossly incompetent a sitting governor is while FBI recordings of said candidate discussing purchasing an elected position are playing in the background...

Or like saying things like " so Americans died, so what? " while campaigning that the safety and security of the American people is paramount?

Let me be clear, I'm not defending this guy, but people need to apply the same litmus test across the board and not just to the people they don't like or agree with.

This guy isn't remotely unique for either side of the aisle.

    Rant over.

The most hilarious thing about Blagojevich was that he was absolutely correct. Of course you should get something in return for appointing someone to a Senate seat. That guy was just dumb and arrogant enough to say it on the phone. He even said “I don’t give a shit if the FBI is listening.” Bet he cares now.

Governor Greitens is here to stay. I cannot wait for the day that the Circuit Attorney for the City of St. Louis, Kim Gardner, goes down for this.

I’m sure when the dust settles, she’ll be run out of office. But then she’ll turn around and file a suit against the city saying she was fired unjustly. I’m sure she’ll bring race and gender into it as well.

    Good riddance Kim Gardner!
