    what's wrong with it? If you're doing long distance two up touring with it, that makes perfect sense.

    All I know is that when I go for a ride with my backpack (girlfriend) and we slow down or turn into a parking lot and she decides to situp and back on the bike, I damn near fall over everytime.
    The center of gravity is all bad when the passenger sits up.

    I agree....

    I do that to Paul when we just take one bike out. Even when Renee (our daughter) does it to me I don't have any issues. This is on a ZX-6 so the riding position will be the same.

    Perhaps it would be wise to share with your girlfriend to wait to sit up until you're in a straight line and then be sure she sits up straight.

    Eh, she's tiny. 12yrs. younger too, gotta love that!!! :D
    Loves the bike and racing....doesn't sweat me and my garage too much...

    What do you expect from a dude that lives in "Farmerville"?....He probably has a disc harrow that attaches to that contraption too.
