I'm looking for part of the fork cap, the valve body with the brass adjuster that screws on the top of the damper rod. Parts 32, 33, 34 in the picture. Link to bigger picture: http://www.bikebandit.com/assets/schematics/Suzuki/SU0127_044.gif Thanks.
Aaaaand if no one has old GSXR fork parts laying around... does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a stuck rebound damping adjuster screw out of the fork cap? It's stuck in there solid. The cap is aluminum, and it looks like the screw is brass. Part 33 is stuck in part 32.
I have a set of triples and forks worked on by Lindemann of a 95 750 for sale, sprung for a 190lb. rider, serviced a year ago, zero miles since.
00-03 750 forks will slide right in your triples, you'll need brakes, front wheel, fender and such also...
Penetrating oil, heat, and patience. Combination of corrosion on ajuster thread and scummed up oring(34), had same problem on a 94 F2 rebound adjuster.
Ive got a complete gsxr 750 ( 93) im parting out. forks were rebuilt about 8 months ago and ive only ridden on them one time. Tons of carbonfiber and custom shit to.
