Ive recently read that a longer main jet not only stays more submerged in the float bowl but that they will actually run richer than the same diameter std. jet because there will be more presure down low in the bowl.

is this correct? anyone have a preferance on short or long main jets?

    thx

A 1/4" deeper would yield about .0065 psi additional, or .04% increase in fuel pressure at the jet. I've forgotten enough fluid dynamics to teel you if it's going to richen up, but I doubt it.
