I stole a lot of your ideas then creaper'd out my bus, not school bus with some black vinyl on the windows.
One or two of these are Kelser's. My old one was the black GMC. The other belonged to Parrish I think. I used mine for about 8 years, but my city neighbors didn't like it that much and I didn't have a great place to store or work on it. Now I'm not at the track as much. When I go, I pull a HF trailer with a 9-5 wagon.
'77. It was in my family since '78 until I sold it for some cash and an endurance tank about 3 years ago.
I used a $15 harbor freight air pump for my helper bags on my 98 Sierra . You must be super duper cheap.
Paging tuna to the white courtesy phone. And what is it with all ktm riders using rape vans? I've seen that a lot.
Help me with this... That thing is BADASS and huge but.. Why not just spring for an RV instead? Do they make RVs with built in motorcycle garage?
It makes sense . But just looking at the cost of the hauler vs the cost of the RV. If similar, he can keep the truck or downsize to a more economical vehicle too.
From another thread Whit got that for about $57k. Don't think you can get a new 40ish ft RV for that price. Especially since (I believe) he already had the truck.
Safari van (Astro) with the TRS. With the AC Pulling a trailer. Only lose a couple MPG pulling this teeny trailer and it makes life much simpler (easier to load/unload and the inside of the van can already be turned into a camping zone). I also have a diesel E350 church bus with a couple of TRS plates in the back but it almost never goes anywhere with just bikes onboard. This is Metalhead's van.
I was looking close for either the 'Ass, Gas, or Grass...no one rides for free' or 'If this van's a rockin', don't bother knockin' stickers.
