I haven't made bodywork in a long time and needed a set for the 200... turned out pretty good. It's all made using vacuum infusion, the fabric is Aluminum coated fiberglass with a translucent paint. The shocker if for some of the old North Central peeps lol. I've posted on FB but thought I'd share here.
yeah it came out pretty sweet. Was admiring it after the 2nd qualifying session, in line, at the weigh in.
Even more beautiful chasing it around the high banks.....just a shame I couldn't catch it....Nice job Rick !
not bad for just whipping up a set for a race lol... show quality for sure.. Just curious, how much would you charge someone for a full set like that?
No clue, I prefer infusion for a number of reasons a big one is less exposure to resins but it is time consuming.
Certainly not my style but I have a lot of respect for the quality of craftsmanship. Not an easy task by any means let alone making it look that good.
Couldn't find a spot I liked fot the Aim lap timer so I made one with cardboard and clay then made a mold of that. Works good.
