If you're a Skynyrd fan like me, last year to see them live! Farewell tour starts in May and ends in Sept.
It's been time to end it for a while I saw them about 10 years ago and it was pretty good, them a zztop.
ZZ top were awful last year. Billy can't sing...I left early. Skynyrd were great (same venue as ZZ - Humphreys, San diego)
I'll be going to saw Alice Cooper next week. From what I've heard, he has a hard time singing these days. Skynyrd at least goes away once, unlike the Eagles, they're on the 117th farewell tour!
If you saw Don Henley's house here in DFW, you'd understand the motivation. The detached dog house is ~300sqft, concrete slab, stone facade, slate roof, copper gutters, heat&AC, running water. The dog house.
Love Skynyrd but have never been interested in seeing the new version. That dude sure can't sing like his brother.
Got a good buddy who's been with them for a very long time. It's not just the end for the band. Did some work for them myself a while back. Nothing lasts forever I guess.
Ok so you have him and the original keyboard player...everyone else has passed away? Kind of proves my point, doesn’t it?
You said “all.” I don’t disagree with you though. I saw them at a festival a few years ago. They tried to cover their lack of chops with volume.
