Kawasaki boycott of Suzuka 8 Hour?

Is this the pace car thing which seemed to favor Honda and penalize Kawasaki?

 

Not sure I understand how that's a boycott.

 

Boycott is John Ulrich’s word. If you read the text of Kawasaki’s message you kind of get the sense they aren’t happy.

 

Okay. To me, it read more to me like the prioritized WSK and just used the opportunity in the press release to take a jab at the organizers for what happened last year. But that didn't seem like the main theme at all.

If I was going to boycott something, I would just say I'm not coming because you guys screwed up. There would be no mention of anything else.
