One of you weirdos might want this: a coworker has a 1:12 scale model of the YZR500 Kocinski rode for King Kenny in '89. Unopened box, still in plastic.
http://www.spotmodel.com/product_info.php?products_id=49352&language=en Steve Rapp probably does not want one...
I was interested until I realized I have about 12 on my shelf right now that I haven't built. For those that are serious, here it is...(nice, by the way) http://www.spotmodel.com/product_info.php?products_id=49352&language=en
Did you ever do any of the Protar kits? I have 1:9 scale 1978 Kenny Roberts 500, 1985 Freddie Spencer 500, and 1988 Eddie Lawson 500. Parts Unlimited carried them at one time.
He's got others, too! An original Katana 1100, a GPZ400 and an All Japan Series RS250RW. His uncle owned a hobby store and he's got stuff piled up at home.
If he's interested in selling, there are specialists he can reach out to. There's a site for the FineScale Modeler magazine that is chock full of members who just love to build up their "stash". There's a site called OldModelKits that specializes in acquiring and reselling. Those are good for bulk selling. Now, if he's got some old M/X types, I'd be interested. Roger DeCoster Suzuki and Malcolm Smith Husqvarna being highest on the list.
