Regional rounds have 20 lap races called Solo 20's. A ton of track time and you can enter multiple races. Great way to step into the racing world, but I recommend hitting up some more trackdays before you start racing.
If you run a beginner or intermediate pace, NESBA has "Skills Enhancement" trackdays where it's a green track all day for that day's group. You can ride your tires to the wires if you wanted to.
If you want to race than race it's that simple. All of you are starting to sound like Matt Mladin, pick a Bostrom, and saying they don't belong at your race because they are to slow. Provisional Novices are allowed in a WERA National Formula 1 race, so why can't these tax paying, race enthusists race endurance?
Not at the Nationals. We don't have a National F1 class for Novices even and PN's aren't allowed to run the Nationals at all (unless they're combined with a regional). I think Robbie was thinking of Open SS at one of the recent races.
