When it's my turn to make that trip, feel free to wish me Godspeed on my way out the door. Once I leave, I probably won't hear you.
Dunno, some people can live that life and truly enjoy it. They just have a different set of values for what makes them happy than others do.
It's superbike planet, nothing but clickbait. I keep forgetting it exists until someone reposts another dumb thing from there.
I have to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. Godspeed isn't just for the dead and I want to believe that he wouldn't use someone he actually cares about for click bait.
It means "may God help you succeed". So It's mostly for the living, as I believe there is not much to achieve after death imho.
It also means something along the lines of safe travels, so is appropriate if you look upon death as a journey.
It was. Or Firehouse.........lol, not sure why when I think of Warrant I think of Firehouse and when I think of Firehouse I want to think of Warrant. I say that cause Warrant definitely had the "glam" level cranked up farther than Firehouse, more along Poison levels I also think Godspeed is for both the living and the departed. To be used for those gearheads, motorsports, etc. "Wish you well on your travels. May God protect your travels, or guide your way. Godspeed my friend" I mean with sincerity and not in a (welp, this clown is going to get himself killed out there) "Godspeed!"
