Installing shock

    I am getting a new PENSKE shock and want to install it myself, looking for help, I found this in a 2002 thread.

    Seems easy enough but what is the 'eye to eye' measurment that he mentions? Any other tips on installing a shock. The biggest thing ive done to my bike is remove/replace the exhaust and forks....

    It's simply the length measurement of the shock. The "eyes" are the ends where the bolts go through to mount the shock to the bike. A fair place to start is to make it the same length as the stock shock and adjust from there...
