The Atlantic Monthly tries its hand at a USA Today-style “info graphic.” Related article here. Snapshot: ..Apple's market cap is looking good; GMs not so much etc. etc. Are there any other telltale stats that should've been included?
Out of that list, other than proposing a budget (defense spending), does the president control the other stuff? One comment I did read was that Bush presided over the weakening of the dollar and did little to nothing to stop the slide. His Treasury Secretaries fell far below the competence of Robert Rubin.
Looks like we were becoming rich, fat, and unhealthy from those stats. You can do better anti-Bush stats than that!
Which stats say you are becoming rich? Do you work for a defense contractor, or own stock in Apple or Lockheed?
As far as we know. Wonder if that's one of the reasons King George wants his papers protected until after his death...
All of the stats....... Or they could say something else depending on your argument. Bush became a lefty towards everything but defense trying to make EVERYONE happy. The money could only go so far and obviously did not buy him friends.
