    Thus far a classy event. They had a lottery to match kids to their machinery. This will definitely be about talent!

    They only edge a rider can possible have now is track knowledge.

    I've been told there was no market or interest in kids mini road racing.

    But this event says otherwise.

    Kids get bikes issued to them on a lottery system. All participants get leathers, helmets and other protective gear for free! They even built a new track in Valencia to ensure no competitive advantage!

    Good things are happening!!!

    Who ever said any such thing that there is no interest?

    Last I checked the Red Bull Rookies Cup has been going on for like 15 years, we've been running mini classes for longer than that and CMRA even longer than us by a bunch.

    Good point, we did have Formula F for things like the MB50 and so on, we just stopped for a while in between.

    I also have no idea how that post says there is a market for it.
    Motogp is doing it because they want to and they are working with companies to provide the products to the riders and it's awesome and it's good exposure for the companies but that doesn't make it have a good ROI for Dorna

    You really aren't good at this english thing. There is a huge different between interest by kids and parents and the racing viewing public at large. It's a sideshow and always will be. The bagger class will get more views...

    Psst, I don't think kids and parents paid for all that equipment (leathers/helmets/etc) and bikes they are racing on for this event. Nor did parents and kids pay for that new track they are racing on.

    Can't you be happy that kids who actually raced in your series are across the pond representing the US?

    I see growth and excitement. Hopefully the momentum continues, and spreads to America!

    You're refusing to actually read what I'm typing. I never said anything like that.

    None of this has a damn thing to do with me being excited for them.

    This isn't growth or excitement, it's all been done before. Hence me saying that no one is telling you there is NO interest. Of course there is some. There isn't the level you seem to think it should be and there never will be. Doesn't mean I'm not happy for the kids and hope they have a great time.

    to debunk my dudes massive receipt pile (and props to him, he gottem hahaha) all of these comments were in response to him saying something along the lines of he wanted mini cup televised over superbike.
