I had a Marlin 1895 45-70. My shoulder still hurts.

My 1895 is in the running for my favorite gun of all time. The recoil is more of a really strong shove than a sharp blow, if that makes sense. My son's late model Marlin 30-30 is, inexplicably, less pleasant to shoot.

Tell the truth. You still have your childhood Transformers action figures, don't you?

The BDX also has some app stuff for your phone...none of which interests me either, just picked the 1800BDX cuz I figured it was shooting for similar yardage as the Vortex you were looking at.
The non-BDX KILOs were what were recommended to me but they're back-ordered.
Not sure what day I'm gonna go, I'll post the night before to give ya last-minute research time.
If I were gonna search a rangefinder for myself, my only interests would be response time, angle/flat shots, water-resistance/proof and deer recognition to 1000yds. Don't know if the older Sigs have scan features like the BDXs but constant readout while scanning seems like a nice feature...the BDX resolves yardage 4x/sec. I'd likely find some other rangefinder features that interest me if I were looking but I don't have a need for one.

Do I have a 1894 Marlin .357? Of course I do, but it might be on the chopping block. I’ve somehow exceeded the agreed upon level of armaments my current spousal treaty allows. (Not really a number but a sell a gun to buy a gun program the spousal unit has mandated) three went out the door but somehow somehow five came back in. The marlin might have to go as a sign of good faith while detente negotiations continue.

If talks work out favorably I’ll grab the Bond derringer some asshole on here got me thinking about.:D
