use Chrome.
install the extensions Hover Zoom and Reddit Enhancement Suite.

go to a subreddit like reddit.com\r\funny and just hover your mouse over the image.

your work productivity will decrease instantly.

if you want a laugh, i also check out http://www.reddit.com/r/Tinder. warning that some photos on there are NSFW

 

the apps really make it so easy to use the site. it should be like that as a default. and the image zoomer thing is good on other website too. pure awesome!

 

if you hit the Settings button (looks like a gear) on the top right, you can enable "night mode' which makes it a little easier on the eyes
