I watch movies in the winter. I actually enjoy a break from racing. It's nice to have something to look forward to.

No, the guy who covered motorcycle racing. A few of the motorsports guys cover other sports. (Bob Varsha did commentary for figure skating.) I think I asked Chris at Daytona if he did other sports and believe he said Billiards or something like that.

Makes more sense than awarding championships in video games and calling it a sport.

Snooker is great. Had a 5x9 "snooker" table (smaller pockets than a normal billiards table) in my basement while growing up. Spent a LOT of time at the pool hall in college on a 6x12 when I should have been in class. Used to be pretty good, but I'm absolutely terrible now. It's just too damn frustrating. I'm still thinking 4/5 shots in advance, but I can't even make the first one anymore lol.

Yep. That's the same thing as "8 Ball" as far as this topic goes anyway, although the name might have another meaning for some folk.

 

Not the same thing, solid and stripes is billiards......8 or 9 ball, etc
