How long have you been here? BBS/WERA

I hope to retire after this school year and maybe get into a little dirt riding. We all know Grissom is a known liar when it comes to riding. I haven't seen him since my last visit to GA a few years ago, but I think he may still have one of my old race bikes.

 

Beeb since June 2003. Attending events off and on since 1987.

Grew up in the WERA paddock when my dad raced, starting in the late 90s I think? Think I've been around here like 10 years or so. Too lazy to check the actual date. Lurked for a couple years before joining. Had short stint of name changes that would've made Putter proud. Don't think I've ever been banned but its possible I was at some point and forgot. Who knows

 

Howard, what was your name changed to? Can't remember.

I cant either. I just seem to remember you and Mongo having a field day with it for a few weeks at one point. Maybe Papa was involved too. Or maybe it was just mongo. hell I don't remember. Too many bumps on the noggin suppose.

Now that I think about it, I think I even had a different username originally and somewhere along the line requested the change to what it is now.

 

I wasn't involved. I have no recollection of any of that, including any prior names.

 

I'm sure I know at least 1 of those name changes.

I honestly have no idea why, but that particular exchange has always stuck in my head, and he doesn’t post enough other stuff to erase it.

 

You may hold the record for name changes.

 

I can't help but think of the ones who could not stand the test of time. No, not the gracious folks who have passed on. I mean the ones who imploded, usually in a big way, never to be seen again. Either they end up banned or they ban themselves. Same thing I guess. Cortez are you lurking buddy?

 

Putter and Lever had quite a few.
