How fast?

How fast do I need to go to win the 600 novice production race at Taladega this weekend? As in what's a good lap time.

 

I would guess you'd better be doing at least 1:00 flats or better.

 

101 and 102's if cobb is there, or faster if not 103's and 104's will get you top 5

 

Short of changing your name to Cobb, I wish you the best of luck.

 

I took a third in the Superbike race their in June running 1:03's. Cobb will be close to 1:00 flat. The rest of us are a little bit slower...

One thing I have found interesting is that if you check the "race average speed" the Prod guys are usually faster than the Superbike guys at Talladega.
