    Motorcycle + racists = Motorcyclists?

It’s a form of motorcycle racialism.

Another feature of that place is...if you do go off in your car and hit the armco and damage...you get a bill for replacement. And there is lots of Armco to hit.

I didnt mind it in a car but I would rather ride the dragon at pace than that track on a bike.

But the kart track is wicked fun with about 10-20 other friends.

I did a BMW day at Monticello which is private, and well the track is super narrow, and armco in some rough spots. A 2 lane country road seemed much wider.

It was nice but I'll stick with the riff raff

There's a few of these places around the US. I can't remember the name of the one I read about a few weeks back but the houses/ garages make this place seem like chumpville.

The houses at VIR, are they only renting those out or can you buy one?

Bummer was that the layout looked fun if safety had been built in.

Pretty much all tracks charge if you damage the Armco. I know for sure barber does and it's not cheap

I did a few track days at Monticello circa 2010 with TPM on two wheels. With a little more effort that place could have been okay but was told that from the very start of the project motorcycle safety was never in play.

It's not a racetrack it's a Starbucks for rich guys with a long winding parking lot.

So, $250,000 for a shell that needs to have interior stuff done? No mention of square footage to really make a value judgement, but by ATL standards it sounds pretty average for new construction. Especially in today's real estate market. Lets not even compare to other places in the US. Why call it a "Rich Folks" track. Or did I miss something? I wonder what HOA fees would be on something like that. That said, if you do a few trackdays a month - the cost of travel, entry fees, plus your time may be more then HOA in a place like that.

pretty sure you can buy one. My buddy was telling me about Thermal... its out west of LA near Joshua Tree. On a scale from 1 to insane... its completely over the top. Just stupid money.

Well, it is a motorsports park, as opposed to a raceway.

Thermal might have been it. Multi million dollar houses? Some place in NoCal if I remember the article.

Bet Thermal would just love you riding around their track on a clapped out SV. :D

NorCal has Thunderhill. You can lease garages like a proper working man. :D Willows airport is just down the road 2 miles so none of that pesky road work of pleebean commuters!
Ive heard they are breaking ground on new garages with "lofts" and plumbing and taking deposits.
The existing ones have just a single 30 amp drop you have to run your own outlets. One guy runs a full time fab shop out of the place.
Their calendar always has something going on.

Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country club is pretty cool. They have garages, million dollars homes, club house and all that. A lot of the members have the Busa powered radicals and they have a series.
AMP is nice but wouldn’t ride a bike there more than 80% pace. Lots of elevation and blind turns. Fun track
