A friend who knows I'm into vintage bikes has asked me for some help. He has a 1985 Honda Nighthawk 650 SC and needs a handlebar. He couldn't find one where he lives (Up Nawth') so I checked my supplier. Being a Yamaha guy I don't even know what a Nighthawk is but I soon found out that the bars are NLA from Honda. Can't find one on ebay and I did find out that the bars are not the same as on other Nighthawks. Anyone got any ideas that can help the guy out? Lyn Garland
Bikemaster? I've bought many a bar there. All the best, Lyn! http://www.bikemaster.com/handlebars.html
The 650 Nighthawk had regular low bars 7/8" just get a set of universal bars with 4 or 5" rise. You will have to drill the locating holes for the switches but it should work fine.
Western Hills Honda here in Cincinnati likely has the OEM ones, They have tons of NOS. But as mentioned above....they are probably like $20 through an aftermarket supplier.
