    Low wing planes dont gravity feed so well, unless they are inverted. And that brings up other issues...

    I still remember the two Hondas running out of fuel at Daytona that year. As in within a few seconds of each other, right out of the International Horseshoe, IIRC.

    Yup. They blamed the electronics within the fuel pump. Technically accurate, as the fuel pump failed to deliver fuel, but not for the reason they implied.
