This was another design from a couple of years ago, by Boyesen. Basic 2 stroke with and charge trapping valve in the exhaust.

 

Oh, crap, apparently Eyvind Boyesen died a couple of days ago. RIP.

 

you got that right!! i watched a 2 stroke 6 cylender in an armoured personel carrier suck a rag right through the intake and into the super charger. it didnt even slow the engine down. i managed to get the chicken board put onto it but the poor engine ate too much of its own oil and had to get rebuilt.

* chicken boards are usualy plywood and made the shape of the inlet housing for the air intake, once a diesel starts to burn on its own oil its going to rev until it blows up. the only way to shut them down is to stop air from getting in.
