I just talked to Scott and he is okay following todays crash at the world cup qualifier in Ohio. I do hate to report that he broke his right arm above his wrist and has some ligament damage. He will be returning home on Wednesday to have surgery with his own specialist. I don't have any further details on the crash, but I'm sure he will be seeing all of you guys real soon. Mom
Sorry to hear about Scott, I hope everything goes well and he gets back out on the track soon. Skuffknee Lee P.S. I'm from Morgonton, NC
What a bummer! I just said to Tom a few days ago that I bet Scott wins one of these World qualifiers. Heal quickly, Scott!
OH NO!!!!!!! Rumors had it at North Fla. that Scott went to Roebling... Guess that was not true.... Susan & Scott... Hope you both are ok and Scott hurry up and get well, I am now in the morning mode and your Scott Harwell Fan Club is very depressed and we will all be waiting to here from you. GET WELL SOON....
Oh, now this is not good news Sorry to hear about your injury Scott, I hope everything turns out ok, heal fast. Jason Temme Serpent racing
That sucks Scott, I'm sorry to hear you got hurt. Get well soon, and don't forget to take your calcium!
I want to thank all of you for all your kind words and support. As you know, besides Susan and his family, racing is Scotts' love. He will really appreciate all your support. He is now on his way home, Susan drove up last night to bring him home. He wanted to make sure I let all of you know he's okay and will be back with you soon. You are the greatest group of people, and knowing you are such a family is worth it all. There has been so many injuries this year to our racing families, that sometimes we wonder why, but Scott knows why, because he loves it and loves all of you. Mom
Scott was at Roebling last weekend running very fast ..I believe he won the Unlimited SS and 2nd in the Unl GP
Hang in there Mom, Susan and Scott. Heal up fast Scott! Sorry this happened. Please call if there is anything we can do for you guys. Is this the same arm Mollywad?
It's the right arm this time. Guess he just wanted metal in both arms. I just came from his house and he seems to be doing pretty good. He's all hopped up on Percoset (sp?)
I was there (Mid-Ohio) on Tuesday watching the race that Scott crashed in. Sorry to hear any fellow racer got hurt. I wanted to note that was one of the cleanest tail section/subframe breaks I've ever seen! The rest of the bike looked like it barely touched the ground! Glad to hear it wasn't life threatening. Hope you get well soon Scott. Thanks for helping me with questions before the Cup race. The next time you are in Ohio, we'll catch up on that missed dirt riding day.
