Meh.... I've been doing ok most years, personally.

There's an old saw I heard many years ago about how you can judge the officially declared victor of the national quadrennial popularity contest by if you are better off now than you were 4 years ago. Every one of those since I reached adulthood has been "yes".

Of course, that's usually in spite of, rather than because of, but whatever.

For sure, 2024 promises to be interesting. I've never been afraid of living in interesting times.

fires is high cotton. Health issues that insurance can mostly fix.
But a lot of loss around me that's financial, romancial and death.
