GSXR/R6 rear brake caliper tool

Will this work with the 03-05 R6?

 

I haven't tried it.
However, there is a good chance that it will. I believe the 03-09 r6 used the same rear axle??? Someone correct me if I am wrong.
The inserted length of the tool is 1.8" and the outside diameter is 1.095"....

 

They use the same rear wheel (front also for that matter)

 

This caliper tool should work just fine then:up:

this just got me thinking
I believe the GSXR's have used the same (diameter) rear axle since year 2000... so this tool should work for them as well!!! Some models hold the caliper in place fairly well from the factory... so there may not be much of an advantage.

I used mine for the first time on my '06 GSXR 600 and all I can say is...SUMABITCH, it works like a champ. Just spread the rear pads apart and it works like a charm. Thanks Piper!
