Wow, they succeeded in turning that bike ugly... I almost bought one of those 998's, it was so damn cheap I figured I could repaint the plastics, then I thought about the fact it would be worth even less then and scrapped the idea.
Looks like their trying to be "green", as in environmentally ate up... I had several comments but none of them are appropriate for general.
During the last year of the AMA's BOTT class, Jimmy Adamo's electric green Ducati stuck out like a sore thumb in a sea of red.
I love it. A racing team is gonna "go green." How many tires will they throw out every weekend? How many horsepower will they create to move one human back to where he started over and over? The possibilites are endless.
Yeah, the irony is thick..... I'm sure they'll use some environmentally friendly, water based solvents in their parts cleaners that doesn't work for shit, though!!! Cheers, Lee S.
