No, its not. There are no dampers in the kit stuff so they are noisy as hell. The first time I heard a gear driven 7R fired up. I thought it had a blown engine. That might actually be THE gear drive in your engine.
Most likely you have that gear drive in the pic. Muzzys engraved alternator block off - Your forks should have "DC" stamped in and "AG" stamped in the other. We figured one fork came off a bike that Doug Chandler crashed on one side and the other came off a bike that Anthony Gobert crashed on the other side. I also have pics of some works parts that came out of an engine that came from Japan and was in Mike Hale's bike.
That's actually the one I was thinking of...swore it had the single-sider. Ya know, Dean said something to me that day about corner speed that took maybe three years to make sense. That mighta been partly due to Dean's mental status, tho. Fast guy, either way.
The single sided swing arm was a $4k or $5k option back then. Sadowski's Raptor had the single sided arm on it. LaBelle bought it with all the bells and whistles.
