Actually here are the rules for WKA and AKRA regarding belts: If it's a flat kart-no seatbelt If it's a cage kart-5pt harness Of course this is all "racing" Karts, as I have no clue whatsoever regarding the high tech, competitive world of electric rental karts.

Yea I saw that. Haven't been to NCM any this year though. Haven't really had time to ride my bike much at all this year. May have to check out their kart track if they have lap timers and track times.
Their never was a girl, the kid is racing 4wheelers this weekend and didn't come. That's the only person to ever beat me. Granted I taught him how to be decent and he's 30 lbs lighter than me. I've won 3/4 I've gone to. He's been at all but this event.
Local rental kart league around here used to pay $25 gas card to the winner. Couple summers ago I had free wieners for two months. True story.
