GNF recap from the Canadian Sport Collette's rider: LocoMartin

    As some of you know, Sport Collette, represented by Martin Grandé, was present at the famous WERA Grand National Final on October 8-12. This National level race is the last one of the season, and all competitors must be invited to compete.

    As a result of our results in the US during the 2008 season, we had been invited and decided to take part in 4 different classes: 600 Stock and 600 Modified, plus 750 Stock and 750 Modified. In all four classes we would be working with our SUZUKI GSXR 600 almost stock bike.

    The experience was awesome on a very fast and nice race track. The first two days were in the heavy rain but this was helpful for me to learn the lines and the track. I rode 4 seconds faster per lap then all other amateurs on the track. My 1:52:000 was only 3 seconds slower than the fastest Expert in a race situation...
