From the rulebook, "Points earned at all Sportsman Championship events count toward an invitation to the Grand National Final. The top 15 riders in points in each class in each Region will be invited to the Grand National Final." Is this how the Vintage invitations are also handled? Top 15 in each Region for each class?
I've always operated on this premise for the Vintage GNF. If your bike is still running at the end of the season you are invited. Actually if you've scored any points I believe you get an invitation.
Actually,if you enter one WERA Vintage event during the year ,you can run at the GNF. The details are in the little paper book thingie that WERA sends you each year with your license. Tom
I think the GNF is just another round of vintage races, so if you have entered any other vintage races, I think you can race.
