Midwest Café Racing Association and Trackdays (MCRA) = 12yo

We get occasional requests for under 12 and it would probably have to be on a case-by-case basis. So far when we've been asked about younger kids the parent has said they would be riding a bike inappropriate to be on the same track with bigger bikes. That's a different issue than if an 11yo with proven skills and evaluation was riding at least a 250.

USBA at Miller, Apex Trackdays at Miller and Rickdiculous Racings School all allow minors. Gauge raced and did trackdays at age 11 with those groups. Chuckwalla in Cali also allows under 16 but check for sure for the minimum age. We raced with them at 14.

Of the 50 available weekend this year. WERA only has 11 events on the SE schedule. My purpose for this thread was to find and compile available track time for the other 39 weekends.

You're going to the track 50 times a year? Holy shit, even I don't do that and it's my job.

I've seen very young kids at the track with TPM, certainly younger than 14.
Seemed like they were really good at having coaches work with them too.

    No
But what the harm in compilimg a calander of available time to ride. If he asks on a random Wed to go?
I commited once a month to him. If he ASKS for more, I'll try to make it work. So having the sched already done. We can look at what groups are where, and see if we want to ride that track.

You live right there and run a shop that does business at the events though, it's different.

Mid-Ohio no longer allows under 18 even with a signed parental waiver as their new insurance policy won't cover under 18 for track events.
