FS Kawasaki KLX 140 / 173 Mini motard

    Selling a KLX 140 / 173. Formula 5 championship winning bike (2010-2011). Comes with some spares and a set up book. Great bike to learn on, especially for youth riders ages 10 and up.

    Here is a description of the KLX not including all of the spares.

    2008 KLX 140L/ 173 Big Wheel

    CMRA will allow up to 175cc air cooled motor in the Formula 5. The motor is a 173cc stroked motor. To build the motor alone would be $3000+. No Kidding.

    SPECS:
    173cc air cooled
    Webb cams
    JE Piston
    Carrillo custom rods
    Ferrea stainless steel oversized valves
    RD springs and retainers
    Mikuni VM26-8074 carburetor
    Custom intake that is bigger and closer to the motor built by Randy Porter @ Texas Iron Works
    Motor work was done by Billy Weise at WRW Racing.
    Crank work was done by Daryl Hastings at USA Factory Racing
    Two Brothers exhaust
    Protaper Schoolboy Hi bars
    Smooth Harris grips
    The KLX steering stem will accept the KX 85/100 front forks and triple tree
    KX 85 Front/rear suspension. (Fully adjustable)
    Front forks have machined 90 lbs. Ninja 250 fork springs
    Rear shock has reservoir
    Front brake rotor 250mm
    KX 125/250 front caliper with oversized caliper mount
    Custom mini motard Sun Rim wheels built by A&A Racing
    Front 2.75 x 17 in. Michelin Power One …… 110/70 – 17 DOT A compound tires
    Rear 3.50 x 17 in. Michelin Power One …… 120/70 – 17 DOT A compound tires
    Front stock KX 125/250 hub to carry the 250mm brake rotor with custom axle spacers and cliper bracket.
    Rear stock KX 85/100 hub w stock KX 85/100 rear disk
    Gearing 420 pinch
    And electric start of course.

    The bike with no spares is $3000.00

    This bike won the Formula 5 division CMRA mini endurance series in 2010 and 2011. This bike has not finished less than 4th place in Formula 5 since we began racing it in 2008.

    Anybody interested in this thing?

    Fix'in to pull all the goodies off of it and put it back as a trailbike and trade it off.
