I think you're on to something here. Waffle pattern burgers would be awesome to hold toppings in place so they don't squirt out the side and become the mustard shirt guy. The Mongo Machine TM. Just angle it to the front so the fat runs off and you're all set lol. Next time I make burgers I'm trying this

I just got one of them 4 in 1 jobbies that's basically a sandwich maker you can swap different plates into.

I've seen those spinny ones at "fancy" hotels as part of the continental breakfast. Next time I stay at one I'm tossing a burger patty in there lol.
