Have you actually looked at whats happening in the US with Debt (government and personal) / jobs / economy / housing / companies / taxes (VAT?! - in the US!)

Businesses wont hire because they dont know how bad they will be blindsided by this administration with taxed and HC costs!

Even being nonpolitical - you have to admit it's bad and Obama and the liberal leaders are causing the pain right now. Leaving all politics aside - it's factual....!

And I dont want to hear about Bush - he's not president and the conservatives havent had control since 06.

I wish Democrats could balance out some of their social liberalism with some economic liberalism. Balance out respect for personal choices with some respect for private property.

 

I am old enough to remember the Carter years and the same type of criticism launched against Reagan, matter of fact he caused WWIII by now (according to the critics instead of ending the cold war) Oh and I walked both ways up hill in blizzards to school.

1) Yes it really is. We have 9.5% unemployment and an even higher number if you count those whose benefits have run out. We have a deficit that is increasing at an ever faster rate since the House was taken by the Democrats. We have soldiers in harm's way that cannot properly engage in war. We are increasing dependence on foreign oil with ignorant policies while mandating green mandates that ignore reality and require subsidies AND mandates for anyone to implement them because they are lunacy. The list goes on....

2) No freedom rocks, progressive policies steal it. Not to mention central planning has failed time and again while here and abroad freedom has resulted in a huge increase in everyone's standard of living. Bush was not a conservative unless compared to someone like President Obama who hangs out with Marxists and other progressive fools that think they are capable of central planning (as if anyone is).

3) Liberals today are not really liberal they are progressives. There is a huge difference. Liberals used to want to liberate the individual. The current crowd talks over and over about rights for groups not individuals. The terms used for political movements can be confusing by accident and intention but the answer is simple. Freedom and adherence to a constitution that LIMITS government. This means original intent must be followed, if times change there is a mechanism called amending the constitution which does not involve a tyrant in black robes. All the ponzi schemes that were unlawfully used to buy votes with OPM need to be eliminated with people benefitting from their own efforts (or suffering the lack of).

 

Awesome..............hope this fuels people who normally dont get involved in politics to learn more about it so they could make better informed decisions for future elections.

 

Not a lot of fight from the Libs on the board........they know the facts are right - hopefully even they realize this in November.

 

Throughout history life has not always been fair, or comfy. There's no reason that it should be.\ Does that mean that bleeding hearts need to spend us into a hole in the ground trying to make everything "all ok?"
