Well...not the battery. Changed that out to no avail. George, the repair guy, came by and took a look at a few of the simple things (fuses) but couldn't get to exactly what he wanted. ECU relays....he thinks it's under the cab which can't be tilted up with the boom down. I fear this is going to get stupidly expensive pretty soon. Stay tuned as the saga continues....George is going to do some research and make some calls then come back..... PS : Price is now 350 plus 140 for the new battery.
Sorry to hear man. @Steeltoe I need a map please. Ill be down this weekend. Can I crash on your couch and get in a good upper decker before I drive back north?
500 and I’ll come get it. Where is Rob Linders at a time like this. Aren’t fork lifts and skid steers similar enough for him to tell us what is wrong with it?
Skidsteer = a big hydraulic pump, just counting down till its next leak/breakdown. Forklift = 1/2 hydraulic pump, 1/2 electric drive just counting down till the next battery death/breakdown.
Well...small update. Replaced the crank relay and ecu relay along with the in-line ground fuse. Still dead. After replacing the inline ground fuse, the current tester light was brighter and I know for fact that it was fried. We'll see what the next try is.
