Eslick Injured?

I heard Eslick crashed at Cal Speedway (auto club) recently and banged himself up pretty bad. Has anyone heard anything or is this just another one of those rumors?

 

He crashed, I heard it, spun around and saw him sliding. Was told he was sliding on his head straight up and down but didn't see that part.

 

Damn hope he's alright.

 

I can only imagine....that if it was bad, we would've read about it in RRW.

 

He didn't leave in the ambulance, actually saw him get a ride back to the pit in the crash truck. He was sitting up fine in the passenger seat. Probably just some bumps and bruises, but didn't see him out anymore that day or the next day.

Eslick was coming down the front straight on the outside of a fast 125 rider, Anthony Alonso, right beside him, trying to help him out Anthony, I think. When Anthony, let off/braked, Eslick went a hair farther flicked it left to come off the banking in turn one. When he flicked it back right at the bottom of the banking it spit him off.

 

Yikes!!! That's a scary section to crash in.

 

I was told that the arm of his Pilot suit ripped off in the crash...

You are mis-informed. I was there with Chris and the 2-up program, sharing a garage with Danny and his mechanic. If he wants to tell y'all the details, that's his business.

Would it help if every time someone reports bad info they have to divulge the source of the bogus info? Eh, probably not.

 

I heard his bike blew up and shut down the track for 2 hours. and his helmet mutated into an unknown alien species and ate him.

Maybe Eslick thought he saw someone on a blue & white Graves Yamaha which caused Eslick to squid up & wreck.

 

that or he was trying to cause someone else to wreck out.........and didnt work out so well this time

According to an eyewitness just behind them, the kid on the 125 did a great job not running over Danny!

 

Did this happen on November 28th at the Fastrack Track day ?
