Driving LA to Seattle, Route options

I'll probably know within the first week of my month long stay whether I like it or not. Even if I move there, I'll still keep my home here incase in need an easy exit from LA.

 

Central coast route 1 is closed due to fires.

 

Reno Route means you can swing by Mono lake CA, which is where the town for High Plains drifter was set.

 

Closing the deal with financing "any minute now." Then lunch at Ta Carbon on Old River Road in Downey, then pop over to Reno, then wherever adventure takes us.

Ironically, we just had the 100k warranty conversation I advised her to decline the $2,000 payment. She had 55,000 trouble free miles on her 2007 Eos (she bought it with 50k and the clutch pedal just failed at 106k).
