Looking to build a drag bike from a BMW S 1000RR. This is primarily for demo purposes as well as taking it to test and tunes and the occasional competition. We want to leave the bike relatively stock other than lowering it and exstending the swing arm. Anyone familiar with classes based on stock motors and swing arm length?
You either make more power or pare weight. LW wheels are a double save since there's less rotating mass to accelerate as well as reducing overall weight.
it will be eggspennsive to maintain...but it is a bad ass bike. With the dissolve of AMA Dragbike there isn't really class races other than some local stuff but i would lean more towards MiRock racing at Budds Creek Md and Rockingham NC SEMDRA is a very good group off racers that turned it into an Org. jim
Like Jim said....MiRock series at MIR and Rockingham is the only serious series out there right now and its in your area. Also, what Jim said.....the Bemmer is going to be expensive...
