    Dave Wolfe I know nuttin!

I just saw Border Collies are ranked as #1 high energy ahead of #2/3 Jack Russels depending on which list.

Are border collies as nuts as Jack Rs?

They are probably the smartest dog around.

No, but they certainly have their quirks. If you are a border collie person, nothing else will do. They are extremely eager to please, so you just have to direct all that energy. Also, they understand English. If you try to trick them by spelling certain words, they learn to spell.

A better picture of our new pup. My border collie has been fairly nice to him so far. I was worried, because he's a bit jealous of me. I'm open to your guesses as to what breed the new boy is. He's sixty pounds, but has feet like turkey platters, so he might still be growing. Screenshot_2024-01-30-10-22-56.png

I think I might have posted one of those in the YouTube thread. There are a bunch of them on YouTube. Not advised for rat lovers.

i had 2 jacks, both HIGHLY animal aggressive. if it was alive - it needs to die! Immediately! their prey drive was crazy! BUT they were AWESOME dogs, both greatly loved and full of character. the stories i could tell lol....never a dull moment with either of them lol.

our jacks were PHENOMINAL dogs, they are missed everyday! first one passed over 13yrs ago, we still talk about him very often - great laughs, great stories! , the second passed 3yrs...i cry at least once a week over him still...i guess right now as i think of him would be one of those times. they are very missed. we have 3 other dogs now - each one special in their own way and i am sure i will feel the same pain when they leave some day too.

I told him you said that. His response? "You talkin' to me?"
I just remembered your tax question. My 90 year old mother's advice, after many years of being in the same situation, should not be divulged publicly.
