Does VIR have broadcast via FM for calls?

    anyone know if the have an FM broadcast for the PA system?

    Not that I have ever seen. Pa's all over paddock tho.

    If by recently you mean after mid-June, then good. Because I went to VIR for the first time in June and pitted in the second garage closest to pit road. I couldn't hear shit all weekend and there was no FM transmission.

    VIR has an FM transmitter, it also gets fried on a regular basis by lightening.

    Well, the FM is down, getting conflicting reports on why - either lightening or a lack of an FCC license since it's more than 1 watt....

    PA system here is still pretty good compared to most places.
