Does octane affect lean/rich jetting

Here's what MR12 does to exhaust ports/valves if left after a weekend.. this motor broke a valve, so never could run any Non E pump gas through it.. literally 4-5 days after the bike stopped running. it's a gritty, corrosion that forms there.
And even running pump gas in the garage after for a good while, and spraying fogging oil through the intake while running then shutting off will leave some deposits. way way less though, if you chase the mr12 and fog.
