Does anybody here watch Homeland? (Spoilers)

I've been watching since day 1 and this is some twisted shitte. Claire Danes's character is seriously effed up man. One episode you like her, next episode you hate her. Classic antihero. I still hate they killed Peter Quinn. And the whole way he went downhill. Mandy Patinkin's character is of course terrific. That dude gets better and better as the years go by.

 

Nope. Now, The Terror, sure.

 

This season's storyline is interesting, to say the least.

 

I gotta get caught up again.

 

I can't tell if they're writing along with the news or if the news is following the show. The whole Russia/poison thing is eerie.

 

Is this one of those shows about some monster you never see? Because that really pisses me off.

 

Nope.

 

Is it based on the Dan Simmons book?

 

It is.

 

I'm watching episode 2 of The Terror. Is anything going to happen? Ever?

 

I watched a while back? Is it still good? I remember being a little slow.

 

I'm not caught up, but I used to love Homeland. I agree - when they got rid of Brody, they had Quinn to replace him. Now that Quinn is gone, I'm sorta down on it.

 

When did you last like her? Personally, I can't remember. I'm pretty confident at this point that the only guy I have consistently liked is the techie she keeps using. Everyone else can die in a fire.

 

It's a good show but its a lot like House of Cards in the way that the premise of the show doesn't allow the plot to go too far off that path. IMO , this is leading it to becoming repetitive .

 

Haha Max is the most used and abused character on there. Poor fella is just trying to help.

 

How are Virgil and Max related?

I'm not caught up on the last few seasons and I missed this.

I absolutely love the show.
If you like it watch “Prisoners of War” the Israeli version that Homeland is based on.
The “Species Jump” episode this season is so accurate with what’s going on it’s scary.
