anyone have any info on hi per parts pipe carb reeds i know this is not a racer but i would love to get some more power out of it top speed is allready at 85mph i would love to get 100mph any and all help wanted
Whadda mean it's not a racer?!?! I know a few Derbis being raced in minis. Best bet for 100mph, though, is to shovel an 80cc MX motor into it, then it'll FLY! There's one in Texas with a KX80 motor in it.
Most parts for the GPR are being made in Europe, thought Jolly Moto supposedly makes a pipe for the stock 50cc now. You can get 75-90cc top end kits and there is a whole slew of Del'Orto <?> carbs that will fit. That and changing the gearing will get you 100+ mph. nifty little bike
Sounds like mapping the ports and a timing and area change might be in order. There are programs that help with this. It takes a lot of experience and know how to do ports, though. Don't know if your into it, but don't go carvin' with a dremel. Get help if you're not into doing ports or have good tools for such. Neat thing is, if you can improve it with port timing and area changes, all it takes is knowledge and ability to do the labor. If the thing is mildly ported, you might can get some good improvements with a little research and a few measurements and a good port mapping program. Just a thought. Not saying I know a damned thing about this bike, LOL. Jack
I DIDNT KNOW THEY HAD A CLASS FOR A DERBI DO THEY RUN THE DERBI'S AT THE REGULAR WERA RACE WEEKEND IF THEY DO I WILL THEY ARE GONA HAVE A PIT BIKE RACE A TGPR IN FEB ILL RACE IT THEN 4 SURE
RPM ran minis last year (Texas WERA affiliate) and CMRA has a strong mini program. If there is enough support, it could happen in WERA, well, maybe. Gotta be a demand before there is a product. I think that's what the 50-80 races being kicked around are all about. Don't show up there and it won't happen, my take on it anyway.
