Plenty of still active threads have hurt a whole lot of feels. that's got nothing to do with it. Mongo has (very few) rules. He and the mods enforce them. It's pretty simple. I don't know who started it, but it was a thread about some of the incentives offered to encourage COVID vaccination such as free Krispy Kremes or beer or whatever various businesses were doing. And this is the beeb, so there's only one way that could have gone, and it wasn't to simply catalogue the incentives around the country.

FWIW, I posted a thread about a certain member I met over on FB and he pissed me the hell off for no good reason. Over the simplest thing. Wasn't aware that he was a member here but -- searching some of the discussions with/about this guy on the beeb -- found others felt the same about this guy. My thread got two replies before it was deleted--within 15 minutes. And I wasn't trying to start anything. But yeah, in hindsight, it was a dumpster fire waiting to happen. Having wrote this, I reckon your thread here is probably as good as deleted.
