The search is over....I'll need to buy a pair of NB sneaks, I guess....maybe gold chains too. Found a 1 owner '06 convertible with 9700 miles in absolute cherry condition. Dark cherry red with tan interior. A perfect summer cruiser. LT2 motor, 400 horse (plenty for me) with the upgraded suspension and interior package. It has the heads up display which is kinda cool. Got to rethink my whole maintenance process though. It's so low to the ground that I'm not sure how to even change the oil. No spare tire (or even donut) which is weird.
The previous owner probably averaged 600 miles a year....I just about put a years worth on in one day. It was glorious weather for a top down romp in the sticks.
Congratulations! I had a 2002 C5 convertible in that exact color combo. Go get your sneakers and chains and have some fun! Im on the waiting list for a C8 Z06, but not sure I'll pull the trigger until the specs come out.
For those of you looking for the QuickJack, Home Depot is having a one day sale on some of these lifts: https://www.homedepot.com/SpecialBuy/SpecialBuyOfTheDay
650HP is impressive? The five to six year old MB sedans I am looking at have 597. And can seat four comfortably. And I'm looking at spending a 1/3 of what that went for.
Yep - I like to have one too, but too pricey. The wagons really hold their value. I just want to take one to a track day and have a blast driving it around.
